The Can arrived today (just a few minutes ago). First thought…Sexy!

  • I love that I can easily open the can while it was inside my pack without having to pull the whole thing out
  • Inside of the puzzle lock top has a little more space for filling the can all the way up
  • The carbon fiber can is super light, and the red/black combo is pretty sexy
  • Carbon fiber can also fits perfectly on the outside of the packs with straps fitting right into the ribs to hold it nicely in place

Perfect Form Factor

It’s easily the most convenient bear canister I have used. Instead of trying to put the old fat cans inside my pack, it is so so great to strap it on like a tent. Lid mechanism is easy to use even when it’s cold.

I received my new Carbon Fiber Grub Can today and I must say that I’m IMPRESSED!  I knew it would be good, but you have gone above and beyond!

Just like you I have always hated the bearcans available to me. As a result I have always avoided buying them, as they were super heavy, hard to open, not fitting in my pack very well and fucking with my center of gravity. Lo and behold the easy to open vertical solution that fits in between my tent and my sleeping pad that I had been envisioning presented itself! Big enough for weeks on the trail! Thanks to you enterprising MF’s!!!
